Hero Mavrick 440 Launched

Hero MotoCorp has just announced the release of the eagerly awaited Hero Mavrick 440 in the local market, following its recent global premiere. The Hero Mavrick is now offered in three variants, with prices starting at Rs. 1.99 lakh for the base model, Rs. 2.14 lakh for the mid-spec version, and Rs. 2.24 lakh for the top-tier model (ex-showroom).

This roadster shares some features with the Harley-Davidson X440, with the highest variant priced around Rs. 15,000 cheaper than the entry-level X440. Comparatively, the base model Hero Mavrick 440 is approximately Rs. 40,000 more affordable than the X440. Positioned to compete with Royal Enfield’s 350 cc motorcycles, as well as offerings from Yezdi and Jawa in the 300-350 cc segment, the Hero Mavrick 440 comes equipped with telescopic front forks, twin-sided rear shock absorbers, and front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

Its rugged design includes a large fuel tank and an elongated single-piece seat, accentuated by an H-shaped LED DRL headlamp cluster and compact circular indicators. Drawing inspiration from the Harley Davidson X440, the rear fender design adds a touch of familiarity to its overall appearance.

Available in three variants and five paint options (Arctic White, Fearless Red, Celestial Blue, Phantom Black, and Enigma Black), the Hero Mavrick 440 offers various features such as an all-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, and turn-by-turn navigation. Powered by a 440 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled SOHC fuel-injected engine generating 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, the Mavrick is built on the same trellis steel frame as the HD X440 and supports E20 fuel.
